About the Destination:
With Somnathpura and Talkad Tour, you will get whisked away to some splendid destinations filled with history, beauty, legend, wildlife and intrigue. First off, head to Somanathapura. The town is popular for Chennakesava Temple that rests on the banks of River Kaveri. This place of worship is around 700 years old and displays magnificent Hoysala architecture. You will also get to witness wildlife at the flora and fauna rich B.R Hills. When here, interact with Soliga Tribe of the region.
Other delights include enjoying picnic lunch by the gushing and milky Shivanasamudra Falls and sauntering off to Talakad. Once upon a time, there were more than 30 temples in this desert like town, many of which are immersed in sand at the moment. The true origin of the place is still unknown.
